Things I haven’t yet done in NYC that I want to do:
- Circle Line – how else to get an awesome view of Manhattan?
- Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge – and I hear the pizza at Grimaldi’s is to die for!
(Plus, all that walking will burn off the cals…!) - Brooklyn Museum
- Visit the Museum of the City of New York – I find NYC’s history fascinating, although I don’t really know that much about it.
- Ice skating in Central Park, Bryant Park, and Rockefeller.
- Movie in Bryant Park during the summer
- Tenement Museum
Ok, that’s all I can think of for now but will be updating this list as things come to me. New Yorkers – any suggestions? Places to eat, see, shop? Leave a comment or email me at jesslovesnyc(at)gmail(dot)com!
NYC Have-Dones:
- Museum of Natural History – one of my fave museums
- Musicals: Wicked, Legally Blonde, The Little Mermaid, Avenue Q, and Jersey Boys
- MoMA
- The Met
- Saw Liam and Me live – though I have to go see them again!
- Guggenheim – had a lovely time there, although it may have been more the company than the museum…overall I wasn’t that impressed by what they had on exhibit.
- Staten Island Ferry
- South Street Seaport
- Shakespeare in the Park – Twelfth Night with Anne Hathaway! AND I was really lucky and won tickets on the virtual line, so I never had to actually go camp out in the park for 7+ hours.
Yay me!
Thanks,
